The water tour connects water sources and bodies, from the thermal spring in Terme Čatež, to the confluence of our longest river, the Sava, and its longest right tributary, the Krka. We pass the Brežice Hydroelectric Power Plant and the second largest reservoir in Slovenia - Lake Brežice. The locals call it the Brežice Sea because of its size. Here you can observe a varied animal world, from swans, ducks and various birds. Along the way, you can also see various sights related to history - the Iron Bridge over the Sava and Krka rivers, Brežice Castle, home to the Posavje Museum Brežice, and the old town centre of Brežice.
